SCCM Training Modules User Guide
Please note: The browser that optimizes clarity in the SC/CM modules is Internet Explorer.
Anyone is welcome to take the SC/CM training modules. However, it is required by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) that all those employed in Virginia as a Support Coordinator/Case Manager, must take and pass all SC/CM modules within 30 days of hire as a SC/CM.
Yes you must complete the modules in order and pass the learning assessment for each module before proceeding to the next one
If you want a certificate of completion, which is required of SC/CMs, you must register. If you do not need a certificate of completion, you do not have to register.
Click on the registration/assessment tab on the SCCM website. This is where you will enter a username, password and you will be asked to provide additional information about yourself.
You can access all posted resources, including a printable text document, and modules at any time without logging in. However, only your “username” and “password” will provide you access to the learning assessments, enable you to track your progress, and provide you with a certificate.
You have unlimited chances to pass the learning assessments. However, it is highly recommended that after two unsuccessful attempts, you go back through the module before taking the test again.
Number of attempts will be recorded and documented in a report that is seen by your employer.
This may be found after logging in and clicking on ‘Dashboard’.
Click on the Module tab header on the SCCM website. Click on a Module tab, then click on “narrated PowerPoint.” The presentation will begin automatically.
Click on the User Guide link for instructions on how to control the module.
